What's in the student activity sheets?

The activity sheets are designed for upper primary and lower secondary students. They provide age-appropriate activities that are centred around items featured on the Mirror of the World website. Each activity falls under one of the four major sections or themes on the site.

Activities include reading information and answering questions, exploring and interacting with books and other items on the website, creating and constructing artefacts and more. A Glossary & Definitions page is also available for students.

VELS curriculum alignments

For teachers in Victoria, the student activities are aligned with the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS). A list of the specific standards that relate to each sheet are available on the VELS Curriculum Alignments page.
